What makes U. S. Taekwondo Academy different?

We set ourselves apart by the depth of knowledge and experience that has been handed down from centuries of tradition. We train and study mercilessly to ensure that our students and athletes have the most up-to-date and intense training around.  We have been a staple in Kenosha for 40 years. We pride ourselves on being the premiere martial arts program in our community.

 

Senior Grandmaster Koang Woong Kim

Senior Grandmaster Koang Woong Kim has a martial arts linage that can be traced back more than two millennia. As a 9th Dan Kukkiwon, Black Belt, he has achieved the highest rank in Taekwondo outside of Kukkiwon headquarters. With more than six decades of experience, as well as being the most decorated international referee in the world he has been recognized as one of the pioneers of both traditional and modern Taekwondo.

Grandmaster Jonathon Edward Kim

Grandmaster Jonathon Edward Kim shares a lineage with Senior Grandmaster. As a second generation Grandmaster, he holds an extremely rare and honorable responsibility to continue the legacy and move forward the traditions set forth by his father and other predecessors of the art. As a 7th Dan Kukkiwon, Black Belt with more than 35 years Taekwondo experience, along with being among the few to have achieved induction into the International Hall of Fame for martial arts,  he prides himself on the amount he has to share.
